Shuangshui Town is a central town of Guangdong Province. The town, with an area of 207 square kilometers and a population of 92500, administrates 37 villagers committees and 2 community residents’ committees and is one of the largest towns in Xinhui in terms of population and land area. REGIONAL SUPERRIORITY
Shuangshui Town is located at Yinzhouhu of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone in the range of 65 square kilometer open waters authorized by the State Council. Adjoining to the national G1 cargo port---Xinhui Port, the town is 98 miles to HongKong and 47 miles to Macao by water. A 10000 tonnage ship can sail with tide or 5000 tonnage ship without tide through Yinzhouhu “Golden Waterway” directly to Shuangshui Town. The panned Yinzhouhu Bridge will connect via Nanmen G1 Highway that runs across Shuangshui, Guangdong West Expressway and the planned HK—Macao—Zhuhai Bridge. When the bridges completed, Shuangshui will fall in range of 20-minute living cycle of Jiangmen City and one-and-half hour living cycle of Guangzhou and HongKong.
